Departmental prize for research
in Provence 2024

Aziz Moqrich, CNRS Research Director, Vice-President and Scientific Director of Tafalgie Therapeutics,
receives the Departmental Prize for Research in Provence 2024, in the Grand Prix category.

This award recognizes Dr Aziz Moqrich’s contribution to the advancement of research in the field of neuroscience. In particular, his research has led to significant advances in understanding the mechanisms underlying the transition from acute to chronic pain.

It is a great honour for me to receive this award. Today, all my team’s work dedicated to understanding the mechanisms involved in pain signalling is being rewarded. Much more than an individual reward, this award is a recognition of the importance of scientific research as a whole in responding to the great challenges of today and tomorrow

Said Aziz Moqrich.
